James 5:5-7

⁵ You have ^(A)lived luxuriously on the earth and led a life of wanton pleasure; you have ^[a]fattened your hearts in ^(B)a day of slaughter. ⁶ You have condemned and ^[b](C)put to death ^(D)the righteous man; he does not resist you.

Exhortation

⁷ Therefore be patient, ^(E)brethren, ^(F)until the coming of the Lord. ^(G)The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until ^[c]it gets ^(H)the early and late rains.
